Hi! My name is Mara (but St. Francis calls me ‘Maretta’). My mama was found as a stray, and I was born into a foster family along with my brother and two sisters. My foster mama says I’m a ‘troublemaker’ but I don’t know what she’s talking about! All I do is bolt into rooms I’m not supposed to go in, run away and hide when it’s time to be put away for the night, and sneak attack my brothers and sisters! It’s a great game! Being this mischievous is tiring, so I like to relax by curling up in peoples’ arms and getting a good ear rub, it’s my favorite! I even like being cradled like a little baby, and if you rub my ears just right I’ll melt right into your arms.
