Mamisi and her four babies came from a house overcrowded with many cats, so she did not get a lot of individual attention. She now LOVES attention, and often asks you to pet her. She was fearful at first, but now realizes that people aren’t going to do anything bad to her.
She was a very attentive mother. She loves to be petted. She takes very good care of her fur, so it feels like velvet.
Mamisi doesn’t like being picked up, although we are working on getting her used to it, but will crawl into a lap and lay down by her own choice.
Mamisi is a very unobtrusive cat, not demanding attention, but enjoying it when you give it to her.
She is currently a bit food-motivated but that will likely improve when she realizes that will get sufficient food.
Mamisi does well with a 50# gentle dog. She doesn’t cuddle up with her, but she greets her often. She also gets along well with the other cats in the foster home.
