Hello, My name is Rusty. My siblings and I were abandoned at an asphalt company. Luckily, the owner discovered us and over the course of a week brought us all into rescue.
I am a bit more reserved than my siblings and not as outgoing. I'm shy around new people and take a while to get used to them. Once I warmed up to my foster mom though, I decided that snuggling up in her lap was pretty nice. Even if I'm not snuggling, I love to be next to my foster mom. Sometimes I just lay on her feet to be close.
I am still very much a kitten and love to play. I can make a toy out of anything. When I play with my siblings though, if they start to get rough I'll run away and hide. I hide when new people come to the house too. But, if you have the patience to let me adjust at my own pace, you'll have a beautiful, sweet kitty as part of your family.
I am also a very quiet kitty. My meow can be so soft sometimes that it just looks like I'm opening my mouth and not saying anything.
I do have a little cloudiness in my left eye. The vet has taken a look at it and feels that it does not affect my vision. That's a good thing because I keep losing my toys and have to go search for them.
I'm also scared in new places and will hide. If you Have patience and leave me alone, I will come out and investigate. I would do best in a home with another quiet, calm cat friend who could teach me that life isn't so scary. I hope you choose to adopt me and help me grow into the best kitty I can be.
