Hello-My name is Elrond and I was rescued from animal control in the summer. When I came to SFAAR I was underweight and in bad shape. During a vet exam it was discovered I digested my food slower than normal.  After a lot of time in my foster home with trial and error, it was determined that I need to be on metacloprimide and a fiber response diet for rest of my life. If taken off I lose my appetite and don't feel well. My quality of life is great as I love my food and do okay with taking my pill.
 
I am sweet boy that loves to be pet.  I've gained a healthy amount of weight the past few months and am feeling like a million bucks. I love attention and exploring my foster home. I get along with cats after a proper acclimation. I've waited a long time to find my forever home. I hope they are looking for me as I want to be the one to show them how greatful I am for a second chance.
