Taura is shy at first but loves to talk to you. She demands we open the porch door so she can lay in the sun. She loves to have a window ledge for herself.

She will do well in a house with no dogs and until she gets to know her forever family, she can be cranky. Taura doesn't deal with change very well and after being in her first home for 6 years before being surrendered, I don't blame her. A cheap squirt gun is a great training tool as well as a kennel or room she knows is her space.

Taura LOVES children! She will go and look for them to play. She will play "catch me" and let kids chase her, but will wait for them if she gets too far ahead. She likes to drink out of a water glass too. If the glass is someplace she can drink out of it, she will. She drinks out of the faucet when the water is running. She'll wait until you're done washing your hands then take her turn. She also likes being pet while on the sink.

Taura is a great cat that needs a great home.
