Sara Lee was surrendered back to SFAAR after her owners got divorced. A few days after coming to SFAAR she started having some medical issues. I took her to the vet and discovered that she has urinary crystals. She was put on a prescription diet that does take care of the crystals and make her feel a lot better. As long as she is on that food she is great. She does need to drink more water to keep hydrated so it gets added to her canned or dry on occasion.
Since being rescue the last 6 months Sara Lee has developed arthritis that causes her to limp(front leg) but it hasnt slowed her down from jumping up on her favorite cat tree. She has pain meds that she taked during her flare ups.
Despite all this Sara Lee is a happy, friendly girl. She loves everyone she meets. She hasn' t met a lap she hasn't liked to sit on. She is very demanding for petting and head butts. She is pretty much the happiest, sweetest kitty you will meet. I hope you choose to give Sara Lee a thought as she deserves a second chance at a forever home of her very own. She has been patiently waiting for them to find her so she can show them how grateful she is for her new lease on life.
